Hannah Oliver
MSW, CSW Associate
Administrative Coordinator
I am a Clinical Social Work Associate with a variety of experience. I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Syracuse University where I graduated with honors. I have worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient mental health therapy, suicide prevention, and early intervention supports for children and parents.
I bring a warm and friendly personality to therapy utilizing humor when appropriate. I strive to create a friendly, warm space where you can talk about your experiences without fear of judgement or criticism. My therapeutic practice is client-centered, meaning I tailor our work together to your unique goals, preferences, and needs. Whether you want to process past experiences or navigate current life stressors, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
I specialize in trauma treatment and am trained in EMDR. While trauma is my specialty, I work with clients on a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, school avoidance, and relationship challenges. I primarily work with adolescents (12-19) but welcome individuals of all ages!
I recognize the profound impact that systems of oppression – such as racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny – have on mental health and daily life. I strive to create a space where all my clients, regardless of background, feel safe, accepted, and empowered to heal and thrive.
The opportunity to travel life’s challenges and joys alongside clients is the greatest honor. I look forward to hearing your story and learning how best I can get you to where you want to go.
